Account data: Name, email address, business name when you register.

Payment data: Billing is processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive basic transaction confirmation data.

Property & content data: Property names, addresses, cover images, guest guide content, and settings you configure.

Guest session data: Anonymous session identifiers and, if enabled, check-in form submissions (name, ID, phone) provided by your guests. You control whether this feature is active.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, and timestamps — collected via server logs and analytics.

Communications: Messages you send us via email or support channels.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, service notices).
• To send product updates and marketing emails (you may opt out at any time).
• To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and merchant-of-record services.
• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
• OpenAI — AI responses generated for guest chat features (no personal data is sent; only guide content).
• Vercel — hosting and deployment.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — if you connect WhatsApp integration.

All sub-processors are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We use a locale cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, data is purged within 30 days. Guest session data is retained for analytics for up to 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security in our database, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep it confidential.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / KVKK)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
